What's in it?Also known as "Shave Grass" is very rich in natural silicon conditioning silica (minerals), sulfur, amino acids (valine, paraginic acid, lucine, serine and citruline), contains high amounts of silicic acid, cysteine, flavone, glycosides & saponine.
Horsetail is also purported to help heal dandruff, get rid of scalp build-up and reduce hair loss. Adding strength to hair and split ends. Horsetail is one of the few herbs that has styptic properties and can stop bleeding almost instantly.
For Skin and Hair* In face spritzers to give skin a firm & smooth look & feel.* Improves elasticity of both hair & skin this is due to the high levels of cysteine (used to condition hair & skin)* When mixed with Lady's Mantle and Eyebright it works to prevent and counteract wrinkles * Helps to eliminate excess oil from skin & hair. (Great herb for those with over active sebaceous glands)
Due to the presence of silicic acid Horsetail is also known to strengthen connective tissue as well as increase the skin and scalp's defences. However, as with all good things do not over indulge.

* Herbal foot-baths * Acne (used as a facial spritzer or infused with Golden Jojoba Oil)* In cold or hot compresses for achy muscles
Making an herbal infusion is just like making a cup of tea.* Take an organic horsetail herb teabag and place it in a pyrex jug.* Boil some water* Pour the hot water over the herbs* Let it brew for at least a few minutes* Strain so that you only have the nourishing infused tea.* Allow it to cool sufficiently then pour the infused tea over your freshly washed hair.* Add a drop of honey or Agave to the infusion and use as a final rinse on freshly washed (not conditioned) hair or as a skin toner. It’s that simple.
